About Us

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer

OUR MISSION
To Share God's Hope by doing whatever it takes

OUR VISION
Transforming Lives

OUR GOAL
Helping answer the question: What is Christ in you just dying to do?

OUR HISTORY
Our congregation began in 1920 with a group large enough to fit into a small living room. The group of now 60 men and women started to use the auditorium of the Puyallup Public Library. One year after the first gathering they came up with the name Immanuel Lutheran Church (ILC) which means "God With Us".
In 1922 ILC was accepted into the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. In July of 1922, the first church was built, it is located at 2nd and 4th Ave. S.E. Currently, known as New Seasons Christian Fellowship.
In March of 1945, the 125' x 150' lot on the corner of 7th and West Main across the street from Puyallup High School was purchased, and is where our Fellowship Hall stands now. Ten years later they embarked on the expansion of the current sanctuary.  With over 10,000 donated hours the sanctuary was built.
In May 1966 the Education Wing was created and is where our current Preschool is located.
We've been moving and changing for over 100 years. The one constant in our journey has been to understand what God has in store for us. We believe it involves loving Jesus and the people of this city. We'd love to have you join us on this journey!
